This winter could be a doozy if the experts are right.

Meteorologists at the NWS (National Weather Service) predict a whopping 99% chance that we will start to see a cold-front sooner this year than ever before. This front could produce record-breaking snowfall affecting the entire U.S.

Snowfall is expected to start as early as the end of October, and is expected to hit the northeast the hardest. Edward F. Blankenbaker quotes “…this will be a once in a lifetime kind of snowy winter. Pretty much everyone will see snow like they never have in their lives. Most younger people don’t even know what an actual blizzard looks like, but by the end of March, they will be seasoned survivalists.”

So, the question is, are you ready?

Experts recommend that you go out and buy long-lasting food stores, such as powdered milk and canned goods, which will last well into the future, should you need them. They also suggest having plenty of batteries, candles, weather radios, and warm blankets at the ready.
