How to Deter Pests with Spray Foam Insulation

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a Discovery Channel junkie. Just the other day I was watching an episode of Dirty Jobs, and guess what it was about? You guessed it - Insulating.

Nope, not spray foam. It was cellulose (blown in recycled newspapers basically), and man, it WAS dirty.

That stuff was blowing everywhere. And they kept having to stop and clean before they could move on.

But, nothing looks dirtier to me than the clearly rodent-infested fiberglass pictured here.

As Matt over at BatGuys.com will attest, pest intrusions like the one pictured here are more common than you may think. Thanks, BatGuys, for supplying this super gross photo!

But, the great news is that you can avoid this problem both now and in the future, by adding one simple Saturday morning item to your Spring Cleaning agenda - insulating your attic and/or crawlspace or basement with Foam it Green.

Foam it Green spray foam insulation resists pests of all kinds, in addition to drastically reducing your heating and cooling costs. Not to mention, it’s super easy to install on any given Saturday morning, and it’s NOT a dirty job!
